About the hike
This full-day Cvrsnica route begins with a scenic drive from Sarajevo toward Blidinje Nature Park. From the starting point, the trail moves through open plateaus, pine forest, and high mountain terrain with expanding views across Herzegovina.
The goal is Hajducka Vrata, a natural stone arch set above 2,000 meters and one of the most recognizable landmarks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After time for photos, rest, and lunch at a scenic location, we descend back toward Blidinje and return to Sarajevo.
